That should be just enough to make it up my grandparent’s driveway for Christmas dinner. Town and Country Ford just reveiled the power figures earlier today I believe. I’m still waiting on more confirmations to come in but this way you guys have a jump on the news before the Labor Day holiday ends.

I think this could be a worthy candidate as the Terminator truck from Ford.

Just looks like it wants to destroy all the things. Even more aggressive than the first Raptor.

I think it’s the first time in recent memory where a production variant looks better than the concept.

That’d be 7.3 Powerstroke torque, wow.

I was guessing it would in that ballpark.

This has been the estimate for months now. Do you really think some Ford dealership in Alafuckingbama has the numbers before anyone else? They’re just click baiting. There is nothing new in this video. If they did get the numbers, they just breached an NDA and will probably lose their franchise for it.

yes, dealers get order/spec sheets a little bit before new models go on sale. 2017MY F-150 is a week or two away from “OKTB” so nobody is going to “lose their franchise” over something like this.

even though I get eviscerated for it, this is why I say it’s turbocharging which gets you torque, not diesel. diesel’s reputation comes from the fact that they’re immune to detonation so they’ve been able to use high pressure turbocharging for a long time, and we’ve been comparing turbo diesels to normally-aspirated gas engines.

I’m pretty sure all the info they have is in their order guides, which doesn’t state the power. A Ford exec has quoted 450 hp number before, but that was a long time ago. I’m guessing it’ll have more than this.

must really want people to know it’s a Ford, though.

The first picture is the Atlas concept, which was a preview for the regular F-150 not the Raptor.
